Description
The CDL Driver is responsible for the safe operation of assigned truck while adhering to DOT regulations and requirements. The driver will travel to project venue as scheduled. The driver will assist with installs and dismantles of all elements of the event presentation according to schedule in a safe and professional manner. Provides timely and accurate reporting of all event results, expenses, and recommendations for changes/improvement. Accountable for ensuring that all current assignments are executed in a timely, professional, and profitable manner that exceeds client's expectations.

Essential Job Functions:
•Adhere to DOT regulations and requirements
•Hauling a 53' dual expandable/flatbed trailer
•Extensive experience driving in tight spaces, all terrain environments, etc.
•Provide safe and courteous activation for exhibit structure using mechanical and technical skills as required
•Responsible for maintaining vehicle and equipment (i.e., clean-up, wash, etc.), if applicable
•Responsible for fuel reports, expense reports, accidents, and any other required documentation
•Perform exhibit repairs to keep exhibit operational; communicate any issues to management immediately
•Ability to travel to and from venue as schedule permits
•Recommend changes/improvements to management, as appropriate
•Professionally interacts directly with the Director of Operations to manage day-to-day business regarding assigned schedules
•Coordinate with management to execute assignments in a timely, professional, and profitable manner
•Provide event coordination, make travel arrangements, and obtain all approvals, permits, and/or passes to ensure that each activity can be presented as planned

Other Important Duties:
•Keep a clean work environment
•Must be willing to do general labor out of job description when needed
•Perform other duties as required
•Ability to assist with setup and breakdown of even elements and structures
•Must be self-motivated and work without much supervision
•Ability to work beyond a 40-hour week, travel and be OTR for up to 3 weeks, as needed (based on event schedule)
•***Daily per diem up to $200.00 when traveling***

Required Knowledge and Skills:
•Strong communication skills
•Attention to detail
•Flexibility as priorities and timelines can shift considerably and frequently
•Mechanical and technical skills
•Clean driving record

Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications:
•Valid CDL-A License/Medical card
•3+ years of experience in industry – events, experiential and/or fabrication

***Pay Range***
$80,000 DOE

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
•Sit for 8 hours or more•Turn the head, neck, and shoulders to both the right and left•Use the arms and legs to drive a manual shift vehicle•Perform tasks that require adequate manual dexterity in the use of keyboards and keypads, handle or touch objects or controls•Talk and listen•Walk/Stand•Reach above shoulders•Stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl•Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds•Climb a ladder and/or steps to work at a height of approximately 13 feet above the ground•Work in close/confined spaces•Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.•Specific hearing requirements of this job include ability to listen to telephone conversations as well as face-to-face conversations•Noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud•Work beyond a 40-hour workweek may be required•Adhere to PPE requirements (i.e., steel toe shoes, safety glasses, earing protection, etc.)
