Description
Job Summary: The Director is responsible for driving business with new and key accounts, and strategizing with the SVP, Business Development in regards to new business. The Director will work as lead with key clients across the business, and should be able to manage major programs and clients with minimal direction.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Attends sales meetings with clients to review concepts
  • Leads all project hand off meetings to functions of SME business
  • Acts as clients main contact through project life cycle
  • Strategizes on ways to drive new business
  • Participates and leads in concepting of new business inquiries and ideation
  • Manages all contracts and estimates prior to sending to the client
  • Leads with assistance of a production project manager in the execution of the management plan for the assigned projects
  • Helps lead project from inception to completion
  • Carries out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
  • Facilitates communications between office and field staff
  • Tracks and directly reports project status updated to project manager
  • Schedules and leads conference calls and in person meetings with the client
  • Helps problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project
  • Creates and submit invoices to controller for processing
  • Organizes, files, and maintains all current project documents
  • Helps create, manage, and maintain project budget
  • Helps create and adhere to project timeline and calendar
  • Consults with and gathers information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.
  • Maintains positive vendor and client relationships
  • Leads and completes special assigned side projects
  • Available to respond to emergency project needs after hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Some travel required

 

Required Qualifications:

Required:

  • College Degree
  • 10+ years business experience
  • 5+ years industry experience – events, experiential, and/or fabrication
  • Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong business acumen
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Skilled collaborator
  • Excellent communicator both orally and written
  • Comfortable self-starting assigned projects
  • Confident and eager to engage with clients

 

Pay Range:

$70,000-$80,000 with participation in sales bonus plan, depending on experience level
